Google Translation Gadget
I found this translation gadget when I first started my personal blog. Since my husband is Dutch, I wanted his family to be able to read my "rants and raves" despite the language barrier.
I'm sure that any translator out there isn't going to translate perfectly, especially with all my colloquialisms... :) But it generally gets the point across, I'm told... and I found that when I tried others - they either created a text box, for teh user to translate excerpts of text themselves instead of translating teh whole page, OR it just didn't work at all... (Babelfish, Free Translation - just didn't work when I tested them on my page...)
I found this be googling "page translation gadget"...
It's Google's Translation tool, and it supports 35 languages (currently) at:
http://translate.google.com/translate_tools
Just copy the code they provide for the gadget, then, while on the Page Elements tab of your Layout editor, add a gadget to your sidebar. Select HTML, and then paste in the code!
