Adding a Second Header to Your Blogger Blog

When you create your blog using one of Bloggers standard templates, by default - you are only allowed to have one header. Well, believe it or not - you can actually change that! By editing the HTML in your template, you can change your settings so that the Blog Layout Page Elements tab will allow you to add as many headers as you like. (You have to do this if you want to run banner adds under your header!) # Steps to Enable "Add a Page Element Option"… 1. Go to Layout >> Edit HTML 2. Search following codes in Edit Template box… 3. Make the following two changes: Change maxwidgets=’1′ to maxwidgets=’2′ or any number greater than 1. Change showaddelement=’no’ to showaddelement=’yes’. 4. Click on Save Template! That's it! Just go back to Page Elements tab and you will see Add a Page Element Option there for a new header! Thanks to Devil's Workshop for the How-To!
